One of the first things to do is restrict third party cookies via your browser’s Privacy settings. A few transactional sites use third party cookies legitimately; libraries and banks, for instance. I suggest making sure you know your login data, then purge all cookies, your browser history and your cache. Then shut down all the windows and Quit the browser. When you start up again, go to privacy settings and turn off third party cookies. Turn them on selectively for sites that legitimately use them. Facebook, Amazon, Instagram and Goodreads are particularly fond of data sharing.
